Formula 1 at Mercedes me
It might be a few kilometres away from the action at Albert Park, but the Mercedes me store on the corner of King and Collins Streets in Melbourne is where all the Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix 2019 action is taking place.
Take a shot at lapping the Albert Park circuit (in miniature) on the Formula 1 slot car track, or challenge a friend to a race on the Formula 1 simulators in the garage. It’s all fun and games, but one of you might just win a double pass to the Mercedes-Benz star lounge on March 15 if you clock the fastest lap time.
You can can get up close and personal with a replica of the championship-winning 2016 Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 car, which will be on display in-store until March 12. Then, on March 13, the new Mercedes-Benz EQC makes its public debut in Australia, for one day only at Mercedes me store. It’s the brand’s first fully electric vehicle – check it out before it goes on sale in Australia later in the year.
Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 fans are in for a real treat on the evening of March 14, when internationally renowned motorsport journalist Tom Clarkson stops by to host an unforgettable evening of racing insights, as well as an exclusive interview with some very special guests from the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 family. The only way to attend this special event is by winning tickets – enter the draw on the Mercedes me website for your chance to attend.
Mercedes me’s food and beverage partner, St Ali, has also curated a tasty selection of Formula 1-inspired menu items to help you refuel. Make a pitstop any weekday in March to try it.
