Food Foraging with Patrick Jones
Patrick Jones is a locavore, poet and ecological thinker who will be teaching Melburnians a thing or two about food foraging in the city later this month.
Jones, who lives in Central Victoria on a quarter acre permaculture plot with his family, knows all there is about eating from the land. He’ll teach food foraging students the ins and outs of approaching edibles that are freely available.
From medicinal benefits of forageable plants, to where and what not to forage and how to recognise ground that has been poisoned, this walk will develop your ecological knowledge and will have you feeding off the land like a hunter gatherer in no time.
