Fine Food Australia 2024 at MCEC Melbourne
Every year, Fine Food Australia showcases the best in retail, hospitality and bakery innovation, making space for food service and hospitality industry professionals to learn, discover and connect. This year is no different, with Fine Food Australia’s 40th anniversary edition taking place from September 2 to 5 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Celebrating four decades as a pillar of the industry, Fine Food Australia 2024 brings together over 850 exhibitors, four education stages and four industry competitions. A popular destination for trade buyers looking for new products, services and technology, Fine Food Australia also offers networking opportunities for industry professionals over the four-day event.
The Talking Tech stage, sponsored by Tyro, offers educational sessions each day, with different speakers exploring how technology is creating new opportunities and transforming businesses, while the Talking Trends stage, sponsored by Profitability Partners, offers insights into the trends, behaviours and innovations shaping the industry. There’s also plenty of masterclasses on offer, from the Mayers Innovation in Patisserie stage and The Source Kitchen demonstrations to the Export Connect Workshop, which covers export market knowledge and connections.
Competitions and challenges are highlights of the event every year, with this year’s line-up including the Bake Skills Australia Pastry Chef and Bakers championships, the ACF Culinary Challenge, the Nestle Golden Chef's Hat for junior and apprentice chefs, and the always popular Official Great Aussie Pie Competition – with prizes for the best meat pie, gourmet pie, sausage roll and meat pastie.
