Experimenta Make Sense: International Triennial of Media Art
This travelling triennial explores the intersection of art and technology, and its latest pit stop at Benalla Art Gallery will be one of its last.
More than 20 Australian and international artists have worked on the program, which confronts the way humanity lives in an era of disembodied communication, algorithms and artificial intelligence. At its core, the exhibit asks what it means to think, feel, act and do in the age of technology.
One highlight is Tracing Turbulence, which brings together deep observation, drawing and discussion around the formation of turbulent patterns. The interactive work asks participants to work together on a collaborative artwork of eddies, swirls and whorls.
Experimenta Make Sense: International Triennial of Media Art runs at Benalla Art Gallery from December 12, 2020 to February 14, 2021.
