Trade Your Old Bronzer at Fluff Fitzroy
Australian make-up brand Fluff: Casual Cosmetics is giving Melburnians a chance to trade in their old bronzer this Saturday at its Fitzroy HQ.
Frank Body co-founder Erika Geraerts recently launched the label and, for the moment, the product range is limited to a bronzing powder and a brush. But mascara, tinted serum, lip tint and eyeliner are coming soon.
The products are vegan-friendly, with no animal testing. The bronzing powder is mineral based, free of talcum powder, palm oil and parabens.
If you’re sick of flimsy re-useable supermarket bags, you can purchase a Fluff Re-usable Trash Bag for $15, that’s designed to last and spread the message of recycling.
Buying the bag will let you trade your own bronzer for a new, no-nasties “Fluff Bronzing Powder worth $53.
The initiative is encouraging people to be more conscious of what they’re buying and to check their own make-up for ingredients.
Melbourne artist Coco Sims will be recycling all swapped products into a unique art piece.
