Eight Weeks, Eight Noodles at Supernormal
For a limited time only, Andrew McConnell’s CBD restaurant Supernormal will offer a new noodle dish every week.
The changing noodle specials include hand-rolled, steamed and boiled noodles in different Chinese styles such as Mala, Shanghainese and dandan. Each of the eight dishes uses a different kind of noodle and can feed up to two people.
You’ll have the option to pair each steaming-hot bowl of noodles with a specialty drink selected to complement that week’s dish.
The weekly noodle specials are available in addition to Supernormal’s regular menu.

Chongqing Mala noodles, fragrant pork, spiced chickpeas.

Dandan noodles in claypot, tea-smoked pork jowl, pickled mustard green.

Blue swimmer crab, braised egg noodles, kombu dashi.

Shanghai noodles, Spencer Gulf prawns, fermented chilli butter.

Hand-picked Queensland mud crab, steamed rice noodles, XO sauce.
