Wanna get hitched without the hefty price tag?
Christian Miran and Sheridan Newnham, from Paper Bear Photography and Weddings by Sheridan, are offering six couples the opportunity to tie the knot in a one-day elopement marathon at Collingwood rooftop bar Easey’s.
Each couple will get to say their vows in the train bar, with Newnham there to make it official and Miran capturing the moment forever. The easy elopement will cost $2500 per couple, which includes burgers, beers and other booze, the legal stuff and photography.
“I see so many couples feeling stressed about the pressure to have a big wedding or to include things in their wedding that they don’t even really want or like,” says pro photographer Miran. “An elopement is a chance to design your day so that it’s truly only about the two of you. You can still have a party later to celebrate with family and friends, but the burden of wedding traditions is much less once you have had your own private ceremony together.”
The Easey Love-in will take place on Thursday September 22 – “an easy-as anniversary date: 22.9.22,” say the organisers.
“You’ll walk away with zero regrets and you will never forget how great it felt,” adds celebrant Newnham.
Ceremonies will be held on the hour. To book, contact Christian (email@example.com), or register via the link below, before August 21.
