Dress Up x Baserange Spring/Summer Store
Stephanie Downey’s Melbourne-based label Dress Up and French-Danish label Baserange have opened a shared pop-up shop for the warmer months.
The spring/summer concept store on Gertrude Street stocks Baserange's permanent collection, and current and past seasons, alongside Dress Up’s new collection, Wallflower, and sale pieces from previous seasons.
Baserange is committed to sustainable, clean production and thoughtful basics that benefit both the producer and the wearer. Since Downey launched Dress Up in 2006, the label has championed an understated and intelligent approach to everyday dressing. It’s still designed and produced locally in Melbourne by local makers.
The concept store, which has been open for a few months, highlights the labels’ shared ethos and complementary aesthetics. There’s also a selection of natural incense by Shoyeido and Waist journals by Anyonegirl for sale.
The launch event, from 1pm to 6pm on Saturday November 16, will feature music by Jemma Burns, nibbles, and wine from boutique bottle shop Blackhearts & Sparrows.
