Donut Fest on the Green
Donut Fest on the Green is a one-day festival celebrating the doughy and deep-fried with more than 30 food vendors. It's also where the winner of Melbourne's Best Doughnut is announced.
Dolcehouse Gelato, Uncle Donuts, Nuts about Tella, The Oakleigh Doughnut Co. and Blondie’s Donuts are just a few of the businesses that will be setting up stalls. And to balance all that sugar, savoury options will include Ron’s Hamburgers, The Mac Project, Real Jerk Food and more.
Colonial Brewing Co. will be there with a beer garden for the grown-ups. Expect alcoholic slushies and beers to pair with the doughy morsels.
There’ll be live music, doughnut-eating competitions and entertainment for the kids, including a jumping castle and temporary-tattoo parlour.
It's a dog-friendly event too, so even the family pooch can come.
The entry fee is a gold-coin donation – proceeds go to Foodbank Victoria.
From 11am to 7pm.
