The Dog Lovers Show 2018
Melbourne’s doggos will capture our hearts once again at this giant parade of dogs and dog-related things. It's being called "the opposite of Best In Show", a place where all dogs are appreciated for the best buddies they are.
The Melbourne Dog Lovers Show will give everyone the chance to learn about different of breeds, their wellbeing and their needs. And you can interact with them via The Breed Collective, a new feature of this year’s show that will make sure under-appreciated breeds of dog are given the love they deserve.
The Dog Lovers Show will also host its first ever Common Woof Games, which will run throughout the show’s three days. Canines from multiple countries will compete in high jump, discus, basketball and many other events. Not to mention there will also be the popular Dock Dogs water sports.
If you see a dog you like, it’s also possible to take them home with you; more than 50 dog shelters will be at the show with dogs ready for adoption.
There will be free lectures from Doctor Harry Cooper, the host of Harry’s Practice, to teach you how to keep your hound as healthy and happy as possible.
From 9.30am to 5pm each day.
