Tom Sarafian’s Zareh was the hottest restaurant in Melbourne from the very first day it opened in August 2025. Ten months on, and it’s still holding the title – no small feat in a city where exciting things open every week. For the second edition of Broadsheet’s Dine Out festival, Zareh is suitably collaborating with Baba’s Place, the nonna-chic Mediterranean restaurant that Sydneysiders can’t stop talking about, a full five years after it opened in a Marrickville warehouse.

Baba’s co-owner and head chef Jean-Paul El Tom is flying south, where he and Sarafian will collaborate on a $150 set menu that explores the Levant region, a collaboration they describe as “a long time coming”. They’re keen to retain an element of surprise, but you can expect to eat barbeque baharat lamb necks, silverbeet mahshi (a stuffed, simmered vegetable dish) and stuffed carrots with taqlya (a flavoursome North African garnish). Your ticket includes a welcome drink.

This is a rare opportunity to experience two of Australia’s best Middle Eastern chefs at the height of their powers.

Tickets for this Priceless experience are available exclusively to Mastercard cardholders. Book your spot now.
