Broadsheet’s Dine Out Festival very much is about getting together, and that’s what chefs Junda Khoo, Sun Ming and Big Sam Young are doing. Ming runs Sydney’s Sun Ming Restaurant; while Young runs S’more and Young’s Palace, also in Sydney. Khoo is inviting them to his CBD restaurant Ho Jiak to cook a collaborative feast exclusively for Dine Out.
Expect a lengthy set menu revolving around flavours from China, Malaysia and Hong Kong, with some interesting twists. Each plate is hefty and comfort-leaning, and you can add luxe dishes including lobster and oysters.
