Fitzroy favourite Frankie’s Tortas and Tacos is joining the party for Broadsheet’s 2026 Dine Out festival. For one night only, the focus shifts from hefty Mexican sangas to a one-off set menu of regional dishes from the western state of Jalisco, the birthplace of tequila. It’ll be served alongside cocktails and agave spirits from the state.
The $85 set menu heroes seafood to start, with dishes from the coastal town of Puerto Vallarta to kick things off. Next, you’ll get a selection of hearty plates that are popular in Guadalajara – think proteins and plenty of spice. Your ticket includes a welcome cocktail, with a wide variety of lesser-known agave spirits charged on consumption.
