Broadsheet’s Dine Out returns this year and CBD ice-cream shop Kori, along with elusive chocolatier Mame Cocoa, are transforming the store into a dessert konbini, or Japanese-style convenience store.
Expect ice-cream, specialty drinks and playful desserts presented as nostalgic grab-and-go options that make the whole experience feel like you’re on a Tokyo holiday. There’ll be eggs and onigiri reimagined as ice-cream, Mame chocolate-coated potato chips, limited edition ice-cream takeaway tubs and more convenience-store classics reinterpreted as desserts.
