What food do France and Italy’s alpine regions have that Brunswick East doesn’t? During Broadsheet’s second Dine Out festival, the answer is not much. At this long lunch, Lygon Street’s Grana Deli transforms into Chalet Grana, serving a one-off menu covering all things alpine.
There’ll be four set courses of cosy classics for $85 per person, with matched wines an extra $65 per person. Standouts include fondue, venison ragu and salted chestnut tiramisu. They’ll be served alongside Italian and French wines from the alpine regions, so expect nebbiolo, lagrein, mondeuse and more. Bring your best beanie.
