We’re double-dipping for Dine Out and reaching into the cookie jar for seconds, thirds and more. At his Malvern bakery Butter Days, Dessert Masters star John Demetrios is running a limited-edition menu for the festival, baking six gigantic special cookies over six days (hence the $22 price tag).
It seems like there’s a cookie craze in Melbourne right now, and Butter Days has a lot to do with it. Standouts include the peanut butter with sour cherry jam, and an apple pie number laced with miso caramel. Each is available for the day.
