At last year’s debut Dine Out festival, one of the biggest highlights was a collab dinner between Mexican wine bar Arnold’s and Brunswick Thai restaurant Bar Spontana, which showed us just how well their respective cuisines work together. Both are big on chilli, coriander and lime, while curries and moles similarly rely on layer after layer of spices suspended in braising liquid.
For Dine Out 2026 we’re getting another serve, courtesy of two Hot Listed Chinatown restaurants: Taqueria Sin Nombre and Boon Choou. For one night only, they’ll collaborate on a completely original Thai-Mexican set menu featuring larb tostadas, Isan pork belly tacos, crispy fish tacos with green mango relish and Thai beef tacos featuring meat shaved al pastor style. Finish with a Thai-Mexican dessert to be revealed on the night.
Drinks are charged on consumption and stick to the theme. Think Thai beer Micheladas, fiery Margaritas, and cocktails packed with bold flavours and plenty of heat.
