Death Cab for Cutie
It’s not quite The O.C.’s Bait Shop, but Death Cab for Cutie fans have been so eager to nab tickets for the Seattle emotive-rock legends' show at Arts Centre Melbourne's Hamer Hall, a second has been announced.
It’s been more than two decades since the band formed as Ben Gibbard’s soft-rock solo project, only to become pop-culture icons and an eight-time Grammy-nominated indie tour de force – with nine studio album’s under their belt.
This tour follows the release of 2018’s Thank You for Today, and the band will play a selection of songs from across their 22-year career, including classics from their 1998 debut Something for Airplanes and 2003’s breakthrough Transatlanticism.
Dust off your best button-up, book your tickets and get ready to ride the nostalgia like a Razor scooter. There’s a reason Death Cab are Seth Cohen’s favourite band, and still going strong after all these years.
From 7.30pm.
