First kisses and teenage angst revived to make you squirm all over again

YWCA’s Dear Diary event returns this year for a hilarious girl’s night out at the The Toff in Town.

Host and comedian Rose Callaghan presents the teenage diaries of grown women who have bravely volunteered to share tales of first crushes, braces conundrums and uninvited pimples.

The event features Broadsheet’s own and co-host of the Ingredipedia podcast – an audio food fight – Emily Naismith.

The rest of the line-up includes Camp Cope's Georgia Maq; writer and editor of Voiceworks Adalya Nash Hussein; and comedians Tegan Higginbotham, Eve Ellen Bogen and Urvi Majumdar.

Guests are encouraged to dress as their teenage selves and dance along to the appropriately matched retro soundtrack.

All profits from the night go towards YWCA’s continuous work in mentoring, cultural events, education, childcare and women’s education.

Starts at 7.30pm.
