Dan Murphy’s Deals - Black Friday Sale

Mon 23rd November, 2020 – Wed 2nd December, 2020
The liquor merchants are kicking off a sale across its range with the chance to buy a rare bottle of Australian wine worth $36,000 for just $1.

Christmas, summer and holidays are approaching, and that means one thing: sorting drinks. Dan Murphy’s knows this well, and so is kicking off the holiday season with a bang.

Beginning “Black Friday” (November 23) and running until December 2, Dan Murphy’s will feature a huge range of offers across their range. From wine, beer, spirits, and everything in between, special offers will dot the entire Dan Murphy’s portfolio.

To launch the Black Friday sale, it’s doing something rash. Dan Murphy’s will offer drinkers the chance to purchase an historic, $36,000 bottle of Penfolds Grange, for just $1.

The bottle of Grange is a Bin 46, 1958 vintage – one of the so-called “secret” batches made by legendary winemaker Max Schubert. The story goes that when negative reviews for the release of Penfold’s 1952 expression of the drop led to management forbidding Schubert from continuing the range, he simply did so in secret between 1957-1960. It was only when management requested he begin production again that it was revealed he never stopped. Time has proven the master winemaker correct, with wine’s produced during this period fetching tens of thousands of dollars.

The rare bottle of Grange offer is only available to one lucky My Dan's members. Enter the the ballot online to go in the draw to win.

Other big names in the sale include Lanson Black Label Champagne NV, Penfolds Bin 128 2014, Baileys Salted Caramel and the Glenlivet 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky. In shorthand – everything you need to celebrate and get stocked up for the summer holiday season.
