The 2018 Mercedes-Benz Design Award-winning lamp hybrid, Stack, is launching at the annual event for design-industry heavyweights.

In February, Sydney-based designer Zachary Hanna won the 2018 Mercedes-Benz Design Award with Stack, an ingenious lamp, bookshelf and side table hybrid.

As part of the prize, Hanna’s concept has been added to the latest range from Cult Design’s Australian design brand, NAU.

Cult will launch Stack on day one of Denfair 2019, Australia’s leading architecture and design event, on Thursday June 20.

Now in its fifth year, Denfair attracts hundreds of top Australian and international brands each year. Cult’s 2019 NAU stand will spotlight Stack, alongside best-selling pieces by Adam Goodrum, Kate Stokes, Adam Cornish and Tom Fereday (winner of the 2017 Mercedes-Benz Design Award).

The specially designed stand will also incorporate an augmented-reality zone where visitors can envision their own interiors – complete with innovative NAU furniture – using the NAU AR app, which launched at Denfair 2018.

Denfair runs from Thursday June 20 to Saturday June 22 and is open to the public on Saturday from 10am to 5pm.
