Maniax Axe Throwing: Come and Try Night
For those of you who don’t know, an axe-throwing range looks like a short archery range. Throwers stand before a target and hurl axes as close to the bullseye as possible.
As far as hobbies go, it’s undeniably niche and potentially dangerous to try at home. Thankfully, Maniax is hosting a night to introduce its axe-throwing League.
The league is an 8-week program for up to 25 players. It runs from 7pm to 9pm each week. There are seven weeks of competition followed by a week of finals. It’s the only competition of its kind in Australia sanctioned by the National Axe Throwing Federation – meaning it complies to safe axe-throwing protocols, and is a great way to get into this unusual sport.
Following the info session, organisers have said attendees can then have a throw or two for themselves.
From 7pm to 9pm.
