Christmas in the Wizarding World at Fed Square
Twenty years ago, the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone – based on the the first book of JK Rowling’s beloved fantasy series – premiered all over the world. Seven more movies, the Fantastic Beasts spin-off and a stage play later, relieve the magic all over again.
Fed Square is screening the first film for free on its big outdoor screen. Watch Harry discover he’s a wizard, visit Hogwarts, meet Ron and Hermione, play Quidditch and defeat Lord Voldemort for the first time.
The cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, now playing at the Princess Theatre, is also giving a special live performance ahead of the screening, and there’ll be kid-friendly activities including a wand workshop.
