Appreciating the most misunderstood member of the architecture family.

A series of talks, workshops and dining events throughout May will celebrate the under-appreciated mid-20th century architecture movement, Brutalism. It combined modernism and post-war sensibilities, resulting in a raw aesthetic and lots of exposed concrete.

Fittingly, the block party events will all take place in a Brutalist concrete-fronted warehouse. Events include a weekly produce market every Saturday, an indoor plant workshop and presentations on Brutalism.
