Bread Club x Glasshaus Pop-Up
North Melbourne bakery Bread Club, which opened earlier this year (pre-pandemic), is a club worth talking about.
But for those unable to head north because of the renewed lockdown, it’s heading south for a series of baked goods and blooms pop-ups at sprawling Cremorne nursery Glasshaus.
On the Bread Club menu: baguettes, classic white and seeded sourdough loaves, flaky plain (and almond) croissants, salted toffee and chocolate cookies, fruit danishes and saffron buns. Plus, pies and sausage rolls.
Meanwhile, you can shop Glasshaus’s full nursey range. But there are a few specials: a monstera in a 190-centimetre ceramic pot for $45, and freshly cut tulips for $20 a bunch (or $35 for two).
In line with social-distancing measures, there’ll be limits on the number of people in the space and 1.5-metre-spaced markers in the queue.
From 9am to 2pm, or until sold out.
