It’s all in the name at St Kilda’s Pizza e Birra – the lively Italian trattoria specialises in woodfired pizzas and there’s Birra Moretti on tap.
On Tuesdays, $25 will get you as many standard pizzas as you can eat in a two-hour sitting. Or, for $29, upgrade to the new plant-based menu, which features vegan pizzas including a potato pizza topped with homemade kale gremolata, nozzarella, spring onions and chilli oil.
There’s also a popular Mexican-style pizza, complete with tomato, corn chips, jalapenos and nozzarella, drizzled with guacamole and vegan sour cream. Plus, vegan twists on the classics, such as capricciosa and pepperoni, made with a mix of nozzarella, vegami and vegan ham.
Drop an extra $20 to add unlimited beer or a vegan semi sav blanc from the tap.
