Fitzroy Nursery
390 Brunswick Street, Fitzroy
A two-day sale of this season’s “must-have” plants from more than 30 growers and collectors.

Brunswick Street’s Fitzroy Nursery will be selling rare and weird plants next weekend during a one-off Botanageddon sale.

The list of botanical curiosities includes Caladium lindenii, sometimes dubbed "angel's wing"; Oxalis triangularis aka false shamrocks; the tropical Peperomia maculosa; the crawling, climbing Philodendron gloriosum and Philodendron radiatum; and Alocasia green velvet.

The store opens at 8.30am on Saturday and 9.30am on Sunday, and the inner-city nursery will be stocking the exact same quantities of plants on both days.

There’s also a limit of one plant per species per person.
