There’s no seasonal limit to when you can best enjoy American-style barbeque – and sometimes you just want to eat as much of it as you can. That’s why the folks at Bluebonnet Barbecue have reintroduced the popular bottomless barbeque permanently.
Diners are given the chance to fill their stomachs to the brim with head chef Chris Terlikar’s signature Texan-style barbeque (with an Aussie twist). You’ll get a tray with two meats and a side, selected by the kitchen. When you’ve finished, another will come out – and so on, until your two-hour session ends (probably in meat sweats).
Expect meats such as Wagyu beef brisket, pulled lamb shoulder, bourbon-glazed pork ribs and Cape Grim pastrami beef cheek, and sides such as nashi pear-and-kohlrabi slaw, chilli-cheese grits, smoked mash potato and crinkle-cut chips.
Bottomless barbeque costs $65 per person and runs every Tuesday and Wednesday night from 5pm. To book, call (03) 9972 1815.
