Bioderma Photoderm Future Care Hub Pop-Up

Summer in Melbourne is all about chilling at the beach, lying on a picnic blanket in the park, or doing activities outside while it’s warm out. But this pop-up in the city is asking passers-by to pause and rethink their daily relationship with the sun.

From January 29 to 31, Bioderma will host the Photoderm Future Care Hub at the State Library forecourt, inviting visitors to step into a pop-up space focused on education around sun safety and daily SPF use. The activation coincides with the Australian launch of Bioderma’s Photoderm suncare range.

Set alongside a pop-up truck, the experience encourages visitors to learn more about how UV exposure can affect skin over time and how consistent sun protection fits into your daily routine. Attendees can trial products from the new Photoderm range, receive complimentary SPF samples, enjoy a mango smoothie and take part in a prize draw via a gumball-style machine for a chance to win Bioderma products, Raie sunnies, custom merch and more.

A UV face-scanning machine offers a visual on how well guests have applied sun protection, reinforcing the role of daily SPF use and reapplication as part of long-term skincare habits.

The Photoderm range includes three SPF 50+ options designed for daily wear, each with lightweight, non-greasy finishes suitable for sensitive skin. The Photoderm Suncare Serum features a serum-like texture with a dewy glow finish, the Photoderm Suncare Fluid provides hydration with a dry-touch feel and the Photoderm Suncare Lotion is formulated for use on both face and body, suitable for application on wet or dry skin. The range reflects Bioderma’s approach to suncare that goes beyond UV protection alone.
