Best Jumpers founder Dylan Best taught Broadsheet the principles behind wearing a tracksuit to work and nailing “luxury loungewear” without looking like a potato.
Now the elevated unisex casualwear brand is launching its newest range, the Tyrone Series, at a month-long pop-up store in Fitzroy.
For four weeks in June the online label will be available at a IRL store. The Tyrone Series is inspired by tennis of the late ’70s and early ’80s (think Bjorn Borg and John McEnroe).
The pieces are made with Japanese cotton blends with polar fleece. They're the same lightweight sport-tech fabrics typically used in performance clothing, but transformed for everyday wear.
There are also new women’s pieces in the line, including a classic-cut jumper dress with crew-neck crossover detail.
Colourways in the series include cool mint, forest green, navy, dusty pink and chalk white.
Also available at the pop-up is Best Jumpers’ core collection: wombat jumpers, "Mate" hats and basic Japanese-cotton hoodies.
Open from 10am to 6pm.
