Barkly Barks Dog Festival 2018
The Barkly Barks Dog Festival is back for a third year at its home in Brunswick’s Barkly Square.
The one-day festival will include 10 categories of competitions including Best In Show and Best Costume and finish the day with a Dachshund Dash. There will also be an Awkward Portraits stall taking photos of your doggos in costumes.
Canine Wellness Kitchen, Melbourne’s only dog-friendly food truck, will be providing raw, dehydrated snacks and its dog-friendly bone broth – called Freddie’s Froth – served in a beer bottle, naturally.
The festival's Woof Market will offer dog sweaters and accessories from Sebastian Says, bandanas and collars from Found and Hound, organic dog treats from Leannie & Lou and handmade pet treats and beds from Doggy Tid bits.
Obedience classes, a doggy day spa and live music will keep you and your furry friends pampered and entertained.
If want to put your dog knowledge to the test you can register to take part in Barkly Barks Dog Trivia. Hint: you might want to brush up on your Lassie knowledge.
From 10am to 3pm.
