The F1 Australian Grand Prix 2020
Formula 1 has kicked off its season in Melbourne every year since 1996.
In 2020, the laneway-inspired M-Lane is where you'll find food, from the Broadsheet Diner (more on that soon), 400 Gradi, Biggie Smalls, Drumplings, Pinchy’s and more. Over in the Marriott Bonvoy Lounge, which is the gateway to the exclusive Formula 1 Paddock Club, you can sample St Hugo's premium wine collection, or head up to the rooftop bar, where you’ll find Heineken House.
Not just a spot to fill yourself up between laps, M-Lane is also home to the AusGP Sessions stage where Peking Duk (DJ set), Bag Raiders (DJ set) and Yo! Mafia will jump behind the DJ decks, and Client Liaison, CXLOE and Tigerlily will feature on a packed line-up of live performers presented by FoxFM throughout the weekend.
This year, motorsport fans will have the chance to get up close and personal with the drivers they've come to Albert Park to see. Expect face time with the likes of Daniel Ricciardo, Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen as they take to the Melbourne Walk and the F1 Fan Zone stage. Over at Supercars Central there's the chance to take a behind-the-scenes look at how the Supercars teams work in their garages.
Tap into motor racing nostalgia with throwback car displays and an outdoor art gallery filled with archival photos from the last quarter-century of the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix. Off the track, Ferrari, Porsche and Land Rover will be showing off their new Supercars and luxury vehicles, while Jaguar will be on-hand with test drives of the F-Type on the super sprint track.
Albert Park will also be packed with activities just for kids, with plenty of pop-up playgrounds and active games in the Kids Sporting Zone.
Entry starts from $35, and is free* for kids 14 and under with the purchase of an adult GA ticket. Grandstand and Hospitality ticket packages also available. Book online before prices increase at the gates. *Terms and conditions apply.
