Kick off your day with a morning fuelled by caffeine and Audible, with free coffee at three locations for a more considered start to your daily routine.

The grating sound of your alarm is about to get a whole lot gentler. For two mornings this March, Audible is teaming up with Melbourne coffee institution St Ali to pour free coffees for anyone keen to start the day on a more mindful note.

Happening on Tuesday March 24 and Wednesday March 25, the giveaway will run at three St Ali locations: South Melbourne, Port Melbourne and the CBD. Just rock up from 7:30am, grab a cup and ease into your new morning ritual.

Each cup comes covered in artwork based on wellbeing audiobooks available on Audible and designed by one of three Aussie artists: Struthless interprets Reset Your Health with Jamie Oliver and James Clear’s practical classic Atomic Habits; Tori-Jay Mordey draws from Jay Shetty’s relationship coaching hit Messy Love and Bessel van der Kolk’s seminal mental health masterpiece The Body Keeps the Scoreand Celeste Mountjoy (aka @filthyratbag) is inspired by Mel Robbins’s popular The Let Them Theory and Turia Pitt’s guide to unlearning bad habits, Selfish. They’re the kind of listens designed to slot easily into your morning routine, whether it’s on a walk to work, during a tram ride or with your first sip of coffee.

The activation taps into a shift many Melburnians are already feeling: a move away from extreme self-improvement towards more doable, enjoyable rituals. Coffee’s already a non-negotiable for so many of us – this just gives you a reason to slow down and savour it.

The activation will happen across the three locations from 7.30am to 10am or until sold out. The free coffee is available to the first 150 customers from 7:30am each day. The offer is limited to one free small coffee per customer, which includes both hot and iced espresso-based coffees (including long blacks), with dairy and non-dairy milk alternatives. Specialty coffees, matcha, chai, cold brew and tea aren’t included.

Don’t worry if you miss out on a free coffee – you can still get a shot of morning inspiration from Audible’s wellbeing collection.
