Art by Twilight: With Hinterlandt
Jenny Watson's The Fabric of Fantasy will close at the beginning of March, but before it does Heide is giving art-lovers the chance to view the exhibition after hours.
For two nights only, the Central Galleries at Heide III will extend opening hours to 8pm, so there'll be plenty of time to take in the curated works from Watson's impressive 40-year career.
Both nights will be soundtracked by musical performances, with Sydney-based acoustic ensemble Hinterlandt booked for the first night on January 27.
Hinterlandt's contemporary indie-chamber music combines violins, cello, xylophones, trumpet and piano with male/female vocal duets to weave a unique musical landscape – the perfect accompaniment to Watson's punk- and feminism-inspired work.
Café Heide will be serving food and drinks, or BYO picnic and take a stroll through the Heide sculpture park.
[The second and final evening of Art by Twilight]](https://www.broadsheet.com.au/melbourne/event/art-by-twilight-south-samois) will be held on February 24.
Doors open at 5pm.
