Anything But Square: Under Surveillance at Fed Square
You are being watched. Your street, your devices, your phone and your home are watching you – at all times. That’s the concept behind the latest free program at Fed Square, Anything But Square: Under Surveillance, running until August 7.
In the centre of Fed Square is The Eyes, an eight-metre-high sculpture of a head made entirely from eyes will continue to monitor you as you make your way around the structure – as will smaller eyes you might notice scattered around the square. The Eyes is an immersive installation by the artist collective, Cool Shit.
On Friday nights, dance like the world is going to end at Fed Live: Dance Dystopia, featuring different DJs each week including Discovery, Kaïra Cuvée, Cliftonia and more. You can also catch a movie at the Surveillance Film Festival, with a line-up packed full of spy and surveillance-themed films. Get there early to grab free hot chocolates and eye-themed treats.
