Wes Anderson’s latest pastel-hued flick is eccentric as ever. It’s an espionage thriller driven by a couple of Anderson staples: whimsical aesthetics and a starry ensemble cast. And Broadsheet Access members can see it before the public, at a private pre-screening in Melbourne and Sydney this May.

Anderson co-wrote The Phoenician Scheme with Roman Coppola, and tapped some of Hollywood’s biggest names, including Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hanks, Benedict Cumberbatch, Michael Cera, Bryan Cranston and more. While the full synopsis remains under wraps, we do know the film follows Benicio del Toro’s millionaire Zsa-zsa Korda – survivor of six plane crashes and father of nine sons and one daughter – on a quest with the daughter, a nun called Leisel (played by Mia Threapleton).

Join Broadsheet Access, score your free double pass and head to the theatre with your plus one. Be sure to arrive half an hour before the screening to collect your complimentary snacks and drinks, before immersing yourself in Anderson’s wacky world.
