A3 Festival

Amelie Lens, Adam Beyer, Patrick Topping, Bad Boombox, Âme, Stephan Bodzin. These are just a handful of the 50 DJs and live acts that played at the very first edition of A3 Festival last year.

“This is a 10-, 15-, 20-year project,” founder Daniel Teuma told Broadsheet a few months before the debut event. The man has pedigree – his company, Novel, is known for top festivals and series including Let Them Eat Cake, Smalltown, B3 and Days Like This.

Still, A3 is arguably the most ambitious Novel project to date. The name stands for “audio, art and architecture”, referencing the festival’s slick stage design, standalone art installations, roving performers and more.

Like Meredith and Golden Plains, the site itself is also shaping up to be iconic. It’s Lardner Park, a natural amphitheatre in east Gippsland, just 90 minutes from Melbourne. It also benefits from a permanent warehouse with space for 8000 people, plus established camping and toilet facilities.

In contrast to last year, the 2025 line up includes more house and melodic artists. Headlining are Aussie global sensation Mall Grab, UK duo Gorgon City, Berghain resident Fadi Mohem and more. See the full line up below.

“A3 isn’t just a lineup – it’s a landscape,” Teuma said in a statement. “In its second year, we’re doubling down on our vision: a festival created by and for those who crave meaningful connection through sound, space and art. This is a cultural ecosystem designed for engagement, not spectatorship.”

The A3 ticket ballot is live now and gives registrants access to pre-sale tickets at 4pm on July 22. General release tickets are on sale at 12pm on July 23.
