Since opening in 2017, Neptune Food & Wine has become a south-side favourite for Mediterranean small plates, cocktails and that spanner crab spaghetti.
And to mark half a decade, the venue is serving its signature Negroni and spicy jaffles for just $5 apiece.
The Neptune Negroni is a potent mix of Beefeater gin, Campari, Lucano Vermouth Rosso with an orange segment for garnish, while the jaffle is one of the eatery’s bestselling dishes: smoky ’nduja and scamorza cheese sandwiched in fluffy white bread, toasted, then grated with heaps of pecorino on top. It’s been on the menu since opening day.
You can order as many $5 jaffles as you like, but Negronis are limited to two per person.
