5 & Dime Pop-Up
5 & Dime’s real-deal New York-style bagels are usually only available at its CBD stores or at farmers markets around town. But the popular bagel shop is headed to Caulfield North for two months.
From July 13, the takeaway-only pop-up will be on Hawthorn Road in the space once occupied by ice-cream shop Sundae School.
It’ll be stocked with 5 & Dime’s full range of authentic boiled and baked bagels, and spreads such as cream cheese (and a vegan alternative), smashed avo and PB & J.
There'll also be a lox bagel with cream cheese, salmon, capers, onion and tomato. Plus, a range of sourdough loaves including jalapeno and cheese, rosemary and Mount Zero olives, and one flavoured with everything-bagel seasoning.
Sweets-wise, there’ll be croissants, danishes, cookies and babkas (sweet braided bread). And the pop-up will be serving coffee from local roaster Rosso.
