One of Melbourne’s biggest spring racing occasions returns to Caulfield Racecourse with a special celebration for a historic occasion – with fresh on-course experiences and big name entertainment.

The Sportsbet Caulfield Cup is going all-out this year to mark a major milestone – with international music acts, exclusive cocktails and brand-new experiences to elevate race day to the next level. With $6 million in prize money on the line, racing takes centre stage, while food, pop-up bars and fashion add to the buzzing atmosphere of the Carnival.

The highlight of the celebrations will come after the thrilling final race as British DJ and producer Cassö takes over the main stage. Best known for his viral breakout hit Prada with Raye and D-Block – his set will make you feel like you’re 22 and in Paris, baby. The high-energy tunes will transform the trackside dancefloor into a full-on festival, with the beats carrying the event into the night.

During the day, Food Lane is the place to map out a few stops for a bite between races. Mr Miyagi will serve up its beloved MFC Sando, dumplings and shareable Mr M’s Big Bucket – plus, a carnival-exclusive cocktail Sanchez Does Caulfield, a twist on their signature Japanese spicy margarita. Madeline’s is putting a race-day spin on steak frites with the Winners Cup with Café de Paris butter as well as a celebratory trackside French 150 cocktail; and Ebby Chicken will have crispy hot honey dunkers with chips and a special cocktail creation for the carnival called Hard Electrolytes – a cheeky blend of frozen vodka slushie and orange electrolytes. Pop-up bars from Chandon, Casamigos, Smirnoff, Canadian Club and Carlton Draught line the precinct to sort your trackside sips, For anyone in need of some last-minute glam on the day, Fashion on Track hair and beauty pop-ups from Joey Scandizzo and Chantelle Baker have you covered.

For racegoers seeking more sophistication, the brand new Belvedere Dirty Brew Piano Room offers an exclusive experience. Expect espresso martinis, roaming affogato desserts while enjoying live piano performances, plus private access straight out to the grandstand to take in the racing action.

First-release tickets are now available at 30 per cent off, with general admission priced at $52, or $190 for a group of four. Other ticket categories are also available. Nab your tickets now and be there for the historic 150th running of the Sportsbet Caulfield Cup.
