One of the best things about summer is the outdoor-cinema season. Sunset Cinema at Gasworks Arts Park is up and running with four films showing each week until November 26.

The outdoor cinema in Albert Park is screening a bunch of new releases, including the new Tom Hanks thriller, Inferno; Bridget Jones’s Baby; and Café Society, the latest film from Woody Allen.

If you’re feeling nostalgic, Dirty Dancing is on, and if you want something to go to with the kids, there’s a screening of Storks.

There are food trucks to keep you fed, with sliders from Kerbside Kravings and South African-inspired sausages from Boeri Bros, as well as popcorn and chocolate at the snack bar. The fully licensed bar stocks 4 Pines craft beers and MadFish wines.

Backrests, beanbags and bean-loungers are all available for hire, or you can bring your own picnic rugs, cushions and camping chairs. A Lawn Lounge ticket includes a reserved Kaisr Original Air Lounge with popcorn and a drink.

Gates open at 6.30pm and films start at last light (between 8pm–8.30pm).

More information about the program and session times is available here.
