Finding yourself in a club at 6.30am on a Wednesday morning usually doesn't make for the most productive day at work.
Launched in London in 2013, breakfast dance party Morning Gloryville has swept through 18 cities, including New York, Amsterdam and Tokyo. Dubbed “conscious clubbing”, ravers are asked to eschew drugs and alcohol and instead lift their mood with dance, healthy smoothies, guided yoga and free massages.
From 6.30am to 9.30am, 1000 £ Bend will be pumping with mixes from PBS FM's CC:DISCO, Fintan McGivern and Salvador Darling. Nutrition Bar will be on hand to serve up smoothies as well as coffee by Ripponlea Food and Wine.
Attendees can drop in at whatever time they like and stay for as long as they want to. The organisers do have one piece of advice for pre-work ravers though: "dress to sweat".
Morning Gloryville will launch Wednesday October 15 from 6:30am – 9:30am at 1000 £ Bend, and run monthly thereafter.
