Iconic Melbourne bookstore Readings has crunched its numbers, and yesterday released a list of Melbourne’s best-selling titles in 2015. We’re honoured to see The Broadsheet Melbourne Cookbook in the Top 100, and pleased to know you are enjoying cooking some of the city’s best dishes at home.

We’re in great local company. More than half of the titles on the list are Australian – owner of Heartattack & Vine (and 2015 Stella Prize winner) Emily Bitto’s The Strays made the top five, beating international bestsellers such as The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins.

It’s also great to see 2014’s Community by Sydney’s Arthur Street Kitchen still going strong with the top cookbook spot at number 13; and Hana Assafiri’s Moroccan Soup Bar cookbook in at number 23. (All the other cookbooks on the list were Ottolenghi offerings – no surprises there.)

As for the number one spot? The Mindfulness Colouring Book. A trend that seems here to stay.
