As naturally humorous beings, we love to trick but honestly, we bloody love a treat. There are a few Melbourne venues that are 100 per cent on board for this year’s Halloween celebration. As well as making some novelty drinks for the occasion and throwing up some makeshift cobwebs, there’s also a bunch of incentives to push your costume beyond the point of simply being draped in a white sheet. Hint: there may be some free cocktails involved.

Ferdydurke Halloween Party

Ferdydurke will be stirring some ghoulish-looking punch bowls and featuring $7 Sailor Jerry cocktails all night. The kitchen will also be pumping out some charcoal-dusted, black burger buns filled with all of the trimmings and Satan's Tail Piroshki (24-hour braised oxtail) served with a side of ‘Hell Sauce’. There will be prizes for the best (creepiest) dressed and DJ sets from Chico G, Leo, Bilsby and Rambl. It’ll be two floors of mayhem.
