It’s that time of the year when summer music festival announcements are going to start coming thick and fast. First off is boutique festival NYE On The Hill.

Highlights of the festival this year include headliners the Smith Street Band, R’n’B singer Kaiit, expert groovers Mildlife, and singer-songwriter Jess Locke.

Based in South Gippsland, about 10 minutes from Loch Village, the festival is based at “The Farm” on a hill looking out over the Southern Ocean. Numbers are kept small; there are only 2700 tickets up for grabs.

As well as four licensed bars you can also BYO your own drinks. And on top of the more than 30 bands you’ll find competitive table tennis tournaments, morning yoga, art installations and late night DJs.

While this is the bulk of the line-up, there are still a few acts to be announced so stay tuned.

NYE On The Hill is on from December 30, 2018 to January 1, 2019 at The Farm, South Gippsland.

Tickets go on sale Thursday August 9 at 9am.
