The NGV, Melbourne Museum, Scienceworks and Imax Melbourne are set to reopen on June 27, after closing on March 16 due to the coronavirus outbreak.

To adhere to social distancing rules, the NGV will be putting in place timed ticketing, new queue management systems and hand sanitising stations.

The number of visitors to Melbourne Museum and Scienceworks will also be limited in timed slots, which you can pre-book online starting June 22. Museum members will be granted early admission to Melbourne Museum from June 22.

Imax Melbourne will be screening films from its back catalogue, with programming to be announced in the coming weeks. And there’ll be increased cleaning in high-use areas at all venues.

The Immigration Museum will reopen in August with a new exhibition called Becoming You, about the experience of growing up.
