While we were sad that Salt-N-Pepa cancelled their spot on the bill, Melbourne’s newest boutique music festival The Bureau has swiftly added three new acts to the line-up, each with an equally nostalgic sentiment.

Otis Williams, the last surviving member of the original Motown vocal group, The Temptations (think My Girl and Get Ready), will front the current band which includes 10 horn players.

Also added to the bill: C+C Music Factory. If you don’t know the name, you most certainly know the bangers, in particular: Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now). The song has appeared in a staggering list of movies and television, from Space Jam to Sister Act, The Office and most memorably, Homer and Bart’s visit to the steel mill.

The final act booked for the end-of-year party is ’80s new-wave act Pseudo Echo.

The three additions join Charles Bradley, Saskwatch, Andy Bull, Magic America and Cookin on Three Burners at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

The Bureau will take place at Sidney Myer Music Bowl on December 11. Tickets are on sale now.
