In more Harry Potter news this week, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra has announced more shows for its performance of the Oscar-nominated Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban score.
John Williams’s famous score will be performed in full while the third film in the Harry Potter series is played, uninterrupted, on a high-definition big screen.
In the film, the boy wizard Harry and his mates Ron and Hermione, are pursued by escaped murder Sirius Black. There’s also a half-horse, half-eagle creature and some ghostly things called Dementors. This one’s a little bit scary.
Directed by Alfonso Cuarón (Gravity), the film is considered by many to be a high point in the series.
Earlier in the week it was announced tickets will soon go on sale for the theatrical production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
