The Star Wars theme is one of the world’s most recognisable film scores. This December, in the lead up to the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi on December 14, The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra will bring to life John Williams’s iconic score with Star Wars: The Concert Series.

The event will be a fusion of symphonic surround sound and iconic visuals with a live-to-picture performance of the Oscar-nominated score for the seventh Star Wars instalment, The Force Awakens.

If conductor Nicholas Buc doesn’t use a lightsaber to guide the orchestra, there’s going to be a riot.

Tickets are now on sale via Ticketmaster.

Star Wars: The Concert Series will be held at The Palais Theatre on Thursday December 7 (new show added), Friday December 8, Saturday December 9 and Sunday December 10.
