Coming in faster than an express service EDi Comeng train is City Loop, a cracking new day party in Melbourne.

Put together by record labels Soothsayer and I Oh You, the line-up features some of Australia’s most party-ready dance acts.

Highlights include sets from US boogie-house rapper Channel Tres, garage and two-step inflected R’n’B act Kllo, and psych-disco groove lords Mildlife.

There’s also be not-to-be-missed DJ sets from Melbourne’s queen of the dance floor CC:Disco!, and the wide-ranging house and techno selections of Sydneysider Ben Fester.

Finally, Melbourne’s 11-piece disco band Dance Party will set the mirror ball spinning into overdrive. The band has been packing out venues such as the Night Cat and 170 Russell with their non-stop sets of spot-on disco covers.

To celebrate the announcement of City Loop, Broadsheet is proud to present Dance Party’s first original single, All My Love. It’s a sweltering extended cut of classic disco backed by a joyful cover of Dionne Warwick’s Say A Little Prayer. Check out the track in the link above.

City Loop takes place at RMIT, Melbourne CBD on Saturday November 10, 2018.

Tickets go on sale Friday August 10 at 10.30am.
